Traditional Worship 8:30 A.M.
In our traditional worship we aim to inspire, educate, and unite in God’s love through worship that has been vital for centuries.
Joining together in a common liturgy, our choir leads us in congregational singing of hymns and spirituals. Additionally, we have the Creekwood Bells. A handbell ensemble that is featured throughout the year. Also, there is room for instrumental additions both with the choir or as an instrumental.
Everyone is encouraged to participate fully in worship. If you have a desire to join in any area of music ministry for the traditional service, contact Mike Crawford, our Traditional Choir Director.
Phyllis Carlin, our pianist, is available for inquiries about piano and Creekwood Bells.
We come together around a message that seeks to invite us into the story of God that is the foundation of who we are. In a comfortable and lively worship setting, we share that love with each other.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion is celebrated together on the first Sunday of each month, and on special occasions. Creekwood observes an open Communion Table. If you simply have a desire to know more about Jesus, you are welcome to partake in this holy ritual.
Children’s Time
Children’s Time is a special moment at every service where a message is specifically designed for them.
Participation In Traditional Worship
All family members are encouraged to participate in worship. Opportunities are available to serve as:
- Communion Server
- Usher
- Greeter
- Online Host
- Scripture Reader
Hearing Impaired
For those with hearing issues, we offer headsets to help. Hearing packs are located near the cameras in the back of the Sanctuary. Please check with one of the AV Squad technicians if you need new batteries.
