Lent Devotional – Character

I see God at work in the biggest way when I see students push aside their differences to help another student. God is at work when one child doesn’t see the disability of another child, or the color of another child’s skin. Instead, they see the goodness they have to offer in a friendship or partnership in class.

I see God at work when a group of students gather to share and not be embarrassed for others to know they love God. Their faith has given them the confidence to share His name. In sharing His name together, they know that they can help spread goodness, kindness, and love to others when it isn’t always easy to do.
