Jesus doesn’t ever stay put very long. From the very beginning he has to travel to Egypt for safety – but no matter where he is, he maintains the same mission expressed in John 3:16, to welcome people to life eternal and life abundant. In a constantly moving world, maybe it’s important to recognize that while things around us may always look different – Jesus is one thing that never goes away.
