Expectations

Some might say I’m in the landscaping/nursery business, but I’m really in the service industry. When it comes to letting my faith influence how we operate, I believe we should always do or give more than the job requires.

Going beyond the bid or the expectation of the customer is the key ingredient in doing your best service. In the service industry, your job is to serve the customer. Also, we treat all customers equally, each one receiving a kind, pleasant, and grateful attitude. Service is at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus, and Jesus ought to influence those of us doing services.

John Wesley instructed the people called Methodists to “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

God Bless,
