Now That I’m Retired, I See More

Just about a year ago, I had the opportunity to retire from my dental practice of 34 years, leaving it in the excellent hands of my daughter. What a blessing! So then began the ‘I can’t say no’ season of my life!

I’ve been able to commit to volunteering and serving in ways that I simply wouldn’t have had the time before retiring. When I’m not keeping one of my grandbabies (and sometimes when I am!), much of my time is spent at Creekwood, helping as I can. And I can assure you that God is at work every day at and through our church – not just on Sundays!

We have an amazing God who loves us unconditionally. He loves us so much that He gifted us His only Son so that we could live and love fully. I see that love on display in our pastors, as they pour themselves into loving and caring for you. I see that love in our church staff and volunteers as they thoughtfully take care of all the behind-the-scenes necessities that help Creekwood serve our community. We have a might FORCE of Jesus loving people that call Creekwood their church home, and I’m so thankful for all of you. You’ve always been there. I’m just able to slow down and actually SEE you!

“And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love

Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love….”
