With a focus on the empowering “hand-up” work that the Samaritan Inn does, we will explore the story of someone who could not walk on his own who was waiting on a supernatural miracle to save him. Amidst the competition for the healing waters, Jesus comes on the scene and gives him the ability to walk. Our mission philosophy at Creekwood has always been to help people never need charity again, as best as that is possible, and the Samaritan Inn gives us the chance to walk into someone’s life and give them the chance to walk, so that they know their own value in the face of God. Sometimes dignity is the miracle itself.
