Creekwood is a church that values the ministry gifts of all persons, not just paid staff. We are all gifted for service through the Holy Spirit, but some are gifted with the ability to help guide and support the mission and vision God has given Creekwood in leadership positions. Below you will find ways to further the learning, sharing, and serving at Creekwood.
Children’s Ministry Team:
Congregational Care Team:
A team focused on serving the hurting and anxious in our community through prayer quilts, prayers, meals, receptions, and reaching out to those who we haven’t seen in a while. To serve, contact lay leader Julie Jones or staff member Keri Lynn Lucas.
A team of persons committed to promoting faithful stewardship among our members, and ensuring faithful stewardship of finances by our staff. To serve, contact lay leader Brandon Pitts or staff member Rusty Nickols.
Lay Leadership Team:
A team dedicated to developing principled, Christian leaders through leading prayer and opportunities to learn the DNA of Creekwood. To serve, contact lay leader Sean McCaffity, or staff member Pastor David Lessner.
This is a team that's passionate about empowering the neediest of God’s children. At Creekwood, we desire to break the cycles of poverty and empower everyone to live the life God desires for them. To serve, contact team chair Helen Fendley or staff member Keri Lynn Lucas.
S.A.L.T. (Student Adult Leadership Team):
Staff Parish Relations Team:
A team that serves as a liaison between laity and clergy/staff, supporting the spiritual care of clergy/staff and providing a sounding board for the laity. This is the only group that is by invitation only due to the sensitive nature of our discussions. To serve, contact lay leader Sean McCaffity or staff member Pastor David Lessner.
