Advent Devotional 14
Note from David – I am very sorry for the confusion this morning. Despite typing this in myself a few days ago and copying it over again this morning and saving it, our e-mail system keeps diverting back to Channing’s devotional that was saved on the template. My hope is that 3rd time is a charm.*
David asked me to think of the greatest gift God has ever given me. Granted, it was a text at 7am on a Monday and I panicked. When I asked Zach for help on what to tell David, his immediate response was “Chloe”. While that is a cliche response, it’s the honest truth.
Zach and I went through a season of loss and sadness. Watching other families grow was extremely difficult to bear. I knew that our time would eventually come, but the depths of grief are hard.
Chloe and Zach have changed my life. They have helped me build deeper connections – and gave me this fire to want to know God better so I could do better. I thank God every day for the opportunity to be a wife and mother. It is the greatest gift and blessing I could ever imagine.
