We Are A Family That Cares

Whether you feel called to pray or need prayer, feel called to care or need care, feel called to cook for your church family or need a helping hand from your church family, Creekwood U.M.C. desires to show care. Creekwood Cares is a ministry that offers a place for members to serve and be served.

Care Ministry:

A group of individuals committed to caring for the people of our congregation as well as the community.  If you are interested in serving on our Care Team making meals, gifts or keeping our congregation up to date on an indiviudal receiving or in need of care, please contact Patti Festa.  Included in this ministry is our Ride Share Program.  If you or someone you know is in need of transportation--perhaps to a doctor's appointment, to the grocery or to a relative's home--please contact us. We have a team prepared to assist day or night.

Brother’s Keeper

Creekwood UMC Congregational Care Emergency Fund

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. ~ Galatians 6:2

Brother’s Keeper is a fund designated to assist those in our congregation with extraordinary financial needs and to offer emergency support. While Creekwood members are generous when giving to outreach and missions around the world, the Brother’s Keeper Fund is an opportunity for us to support those in our church family. In these tough economic times, our members can find themselves temporarily in need and through the Brother’s Keeper Fund, they can find timely support.

*Those who desire can confidentially contact Pastor John Thornton to discuss a need. The hope is to share a burden in a timely fashion during a difficult time.
