How YOU Can Get Involved...

ACO Fill the Bus

It's hard to believe, but July is the beginning of Back to School. ACO will begin sending a bus around the Allen community to collect backpacks and school supplies. This year, ACO will also give out $25 gift cards to each student registered with them. Our communion offering for July 1st will be used to purchase gift cards for ACO to distribute. On August 11th, Creekwood will join with First United Methodist Church of Allen to distribute the backpacks, school supplies, and gift cards. If you wish to give to this effort or be involved on August 11th, please contact Dave, LaKrisha or Michael Ruch. For more information on the ACO Fill the Bus campaign, please visit ACO.

Harper Apple Tree of Wishes

The Apple Tree will be in the Gathering Area July 15th through July 29th. Please stop by and pick up an "apple" (or two) for a Harper Elementary teacher. These items are requested by the teachers to assist them in teaching the children in their classes. The deadline for returning items is August 5th. For more information, please contact Jen Still.
