How YOU Can Get Involved
It's time to get involved with our newest Core Mission! Let's join them on March 23rd at the CR Barn for some BBQ and fun as we celebrate National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! Highlights include live music, photo booth, hay rides, food trucks, dessert tent, dunking booth, petting zoo, games and art! Their Ranchers can’t wait to see you there! Doors open at 4:00pm and program starts at 6:00pm. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door on the day of the event. Sign up to volunteer here. (All attendees must purchase a ticket.) Email Rebecca Hempkins with any questions.
March 24-31 You can be a blessing to families in need of lodging, hot meals, and fellowship! Creekwood will host families in the Student Center. Show the love of Christ through gracious hospitality and care of these families in the midst of challenges. There are many serving opportunities. Please volunteer for this hosting here. If you have any questions or if you will be a first-time Family Promise volunteer, please contact Lauralee Campbell, Barrie Heres, or Sue Jarvis. Learn more about the Family Promise program here.
Topgolf Family FUNdraiser for ACO Summer Food Bags
April 6 Creekwood is hosting a FUNdraiser at Topgolf! Join us 10am-12pm. Adult tickets $40, children 10 and under $20 with the purchase of one adult ticket. Lunch is included. Tickets on sale in the Gathering Area March 17, 24, and 31. (For every adult ticket purchase, $9.60 will be applied to the ACO Summer Food Bag program. This amount will provide approximately one bag of food.) This event is our semi-monthly community event to get together for fellowship and food. Participation in this event is another way to support the ACO Summer Food Bag program.

Ongoing Serving Opportunities
Creekwood UMC, in partnership with Harper Elementary in Princeton, TX, has established Harper's Helpers, a program to train and match Creekwood members with students pre-K through 5th grade to be classroom helpers, assist teachers with classroom tasks, provide tutoring in small group settings, and to be a positive role model for children in the class. There are also opportunities for serving as a breakfast volunteer or lunchroom helper throughout the school year.
Vounteers must complete Ministry Safe training every two years while volunteering as a Helper. Contact Jen Still for more information.
