Opportunity to drop off and pray over food for the staff at Harper Elementary.

May 19, 2018 Creekwood Campus Clean Up

We will be doing some spring cleaning around the campus. There will be projects for every skill level. Some of those projects include: general clean up (paper and other trash removal), tree pruning and limb removal, Creekwood office deck repair, Worship Center clean up, nursery clean up, and VBS preparation. Please be on the lookout for a physical sign up at the pallet display in the Gathering Area. Please sign up, if you can, just so we have an idea how many people to expect.

May 20, 2018 Carter BloodCare Blood Drive

The Carter BloodCare bus will be at Creekwood 9:00am to 1:00pm to collect blood for those in need. Please consider signing up here.

June 17-24 - Family Promise Hosting

Creekwood is hosting families June 17-24, 2018, in the Student Center. Show the love of Christ through gracious hospitality and care of these families who are in the midst of challenges. There are many serving opportunities. To volunteer for this hosting sign up here.

Ongoing Serving Opportunities

Allen Community Outreach

Warehouse located at 2 Butler Circle, Allen:
Need help sorting food. MWF 10:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm; Tu/Th 1:00pm-4:00pm (5-10 volunteers. Must be at least 16 to volunteer at warehouse.)

Treasure Chest located at 301 W Boyd Drive, Allen:
M-F 9:00am-12:00pm (4 volunteers.); Treasure Chest Sales 1st and 3rd Th-Sat of each month. (4 volunteers needed on Th/Fri 8:00am-3:00pm and Sat 8:00am-5:00pm.)

Resale Shop located at 801 E Main Street, Allen:
M-F 10:00am-6:00pm (2 volunteers.)

All volunteers are required to complete ACO volunteer application. Under 18 need to complete Part 1 only. Minimum age to volunteer is 12 with a parent. High school students can volunteer without parental supervision. Contact Michael Ruch for more information.

Harper's Helpers

Creekwood UMC, in partnership with Harper Elementary in Princeton, TX, has established Harper's Helpers, a program to train and match Creekwood members with students pre-K through 5th grade to provide tutoring, mentoring, breakfast buddies and lunch volunteers throughout the school year.

We currently need 10 more Helpers for the second semester of 2017-2018 school year. Contact Jen Still for more information.
